Through out July we have a couple of teams of enthusiastic Archaeology students investigating the long history of Snodhill. The dig is becoming an annual event in our calendar and every year that we dig more is revealed about the castle’s past.
This year’s dig is exploring the medieval history of the site and its links to the neolithic. What will be discovered?
Site tours and an open day are being arranged for 18th and 19th July, so come and visit the action. We will also share what is found as the analysis concludes.
