We receive no state funding and rely entirely on donations to continue our work and maintain the site for visitors.

Every donation however small helps the castle! However, here are some suggested amounts…

• £10 will remortar a single castle stone
• £25 will do a section
• £50 will cut and shape a stone corbel
• £100 will cap 1m of wall 
• £500 will help us buy machinery to maintain the site
• £1000 would pay for a 2m stretch of medieval wall to be consolidated and capped
• £5000 would fund the excavation and restoration of a major feature
